A Theatrical, Electroluminescent Re-Telling

Aesop’s classic fable “The Tortoise and the Hare” is reimagined in this stunning production, blending light, technology, and music. The journey starts with the original tale but continues beyond it, leaping into the present day as the next generation grapples with some modern challenges. When Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare embark on a high-tech race of their own, they quickly find themselves in unexpected territory. To save their children, “Old Man” Tortoise and “Big Daddy” Hare must look past their historic rivalry and work together.

Featuring dazzling visuals and a vibrant soundtrack—ranging from classical masterpieces to modern pop—this poignant production sheds a brilliant new light on a timeless story.

ABOUT LIGHTWIRE THEATER

Lightwire Theater achieved national recognition in 2012 after their appearance on America’s Got Talent (season 7), where they finished as semi-finalist. Their global reach was further extended when they finished as finalists or winners of other similar, hit shows around the world. Their holiday production, “A Very Electric Christmas,” has been broadcast on various public television stations across the US.
