Position Announcement: The historic Fox Tucson Theatre is seeking a forward-thinking, detail-oriented professional, who is dedicated to nonprofit financial health and administrative excellence. Position Overview: The Fox’s Finance & Administration Manager ensures the organization’s finance and administrative functions meet the highest professional standards, and effectively support both the strategic and day to day operating health of downtown Tucson’s flagship, historic performing arts facility. The position reports to the Executive Director, and provides daily supervision for the Finance & Accounting Associate is a hands-on and participative manager responsible for developing, refining, and leading transparent and efficient financial and business management strategies, procedures, and reports, which remain responsive to the evolving needs of a growing nonprofit organization.

Bartender

Bartenders are responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons and upselling concessions and/or merchandise.  Bartenders are also responsible for setting up, cleaning, stocking bars as well as efficiently serving all products in a friendly and timely manner.

Schedule and Start Date: part-time, casual hourly; dependent on event schedule/sign up; desired start date August 12.

Compensation: $13/hour + shared tips

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serves beer, wine, water, coffee, tea and/or soft drinks to patrons during selected Fox Tucson Theatre events;
  • Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol;
  • Collects money for drinks served, makes correct change and balances cash receipts;
  • Monitors customers to avoid over serving alcohol;
  • Restocks the bar with beer, wine, soda, and other related supplies such as glassware or napkins;
  • Safely removes any broken glass;
  • Cleans glasses and/or bar equipment at the end of the shift.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to lift up to 60lbs (30lbs on average)
  • Able to be on feet for 6-7 hours as well as walk up and down stairs often. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • AZ Liquor certified
  • At least 21 years old
  • Three years customer service experience required (food & beverage experience preferred)
  • Comfortable in fast paced work environment
