ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Serves beer, wine, water, coffee, tea and/or soft drinks to patrons during selected Fox Tucson Theatre events;
• Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol;
• Collects money for drinks served, makes correct change and balances cash receipts;
• Monitors customers to avoid over serving alcohol;
• Restocks the bar with beer, wine, soda, and other related supplies such as glassware or napkins;
• Safely removes any broken glass;
• Cleans glasses and/or bar equipment at the end of the shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to lift up to 60lbs (30lbs on average)
• Able to be on feet for 6-7 hours as well as walk up and down stairs often. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• AZ Liquor certified
• At least 21 years old
• Three years customer service experience required (food & beverage experience preferred)
• Comfortable in fast paced work environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Sells show tickets and processes donations through telephone orders, walk-ups, and Internet orders
• Works efficiently and correctly with the current box office software (Spektrix)
• Balances end of day sales paid by cash, check, credit card, and gift certificates
• Completes additional projects including data entry, stuffing programs, etc.
• Functions as a representative of the theatre for visitors and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff
• Provides courteous customer service and answers guest questions about the theater and community
• Maintains box office security
• Keeps box office clean and organized

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Capable of communicating professionally, positively and enthusiastically with patrons, donors, theatre staff, co-promoters, renters, artist agencies and other stakeholders.
• Experience in working with the public in a retail or customer service environment, minimum of three years preferred.
• Experience in performing arts industry preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience using ticketing software/CRM systems preferred.
• Ability to learn new software and have working knowledge of online social media promotion (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately while also exercising confidentiality and discretionary judgment when necessary.
• Exceptional inter-personal skills in written and spoken communication formats, and professional appearance and demeanor.
• Shifts available Tuesday–Saturday during the day, as well as weeknights and weekend hours.
