Bartenders

Bartenders are responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons and upselling concessions and/or merchandise.  Bartenders are also responsible for setting up, cleaning, stocking bars as well as efficiently serving all products in a friendly and timely manner.

Schedule and Start Date: part-time, casual hourly; dependent on event schedule/sign up

Box Office Associates

The Box Office Associate performs sales of tickets and customer service in the Fox Tucson Theatre Box Office.

Schedule and Start Date: part-time, casual hourly; dependent on event schedule/sign up

Programs Assistant

The Fox’s Programs Assistant serves as a general assistant for the Programs and Events & Artist Relations Departments, undertaking a range of basic tasks required to ensure the smooth running of program activities, preparation and facilitation of events, and day of show tasks, with particular attention to fulfilling the general needs of touring personnel, including transportation, errands, basic office support, and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Schedule and Start Date: part-time, casual hourly; dependent on event schedule/sign up

Compensation: $16-18/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate, order, and pick-up show food and production supplies from area businesses.
  • Transport Fox Theatre presented touring personnel as needed to and from airport, hotels, theatre and as needed for general show-related errands.
  • Assist the Events and Artist Relations teams with event day tasks.
  • Safely and confidentially handle cash, grocery and supplies shopping, and other tasks as requested.
  • Provide administrative, organizational, and show-day support for Rental Events, Education Events, and Presented Events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional demeanor and appearance required.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast paced, high-volume pressure filled environment.
  • Capable of communicating professionally, positively, and enthusiastically with artists, performers, crew, theatre staff/volunteers, agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with the public in a retail or customer service environment, performing arts industry preferred.
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills in written and spoken communication formats, and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be available for significant weeknights and weekend hours.
  • Working knowledge of Downtown Tucson and surrounding areas.
  • Experience driving large vehicles preferred.
  • A reliable personal vehicle, a valid drivers license, clean driving record and fully insured with a minimum of 100/300 liability coverage.
