Take a Tour

Tour the Fox

We are always happy to show off our beautiful, historic theater and offer a guided public tour once a month. Led by Tom Skinner, our resident historian, you can learn all about the Fox’s history and peek at some of the spaces not usually open to the public.

Tours happen every second Tuesday of the month at noon from September through May and last about an hour. The tour is free, but we happily accept donations. Private tours for large groups can be scheduled by contacting Jeff Rodenkirch at jeff@foxtucson.com.

Unfortunately, we are not able to open the doors to the public any other times during the day, and our Fox tours are on hiatus during the summer (June through August). For those interested in learning about possible ghosts at the Fox or elsewhere downtown, we recommend reaching out to our friends at the Tucson Ghost Tour.

Due to the precautions being taken during COVID-19, tours of the Fox are currently being paused. We hope to resume our free Tuesday tours as soon as it is safe to do so.
