Widely regarded as the “Crown Jewel” of downtown Tucson, the Fox is a historic theatre of national renown but is quickly becoming one of the most vibrant performing arts centers in the Southwest. The Fox has played a leading role in the recent resurgence of downtown Tucson and continues to serve as a significant engine to the economic growth of the downtown area and Tucson as a whole.
Downtown Tucson Partnership recently launched a new state of the art website for visitors. Check it out here!
Downtown revitalization means easy access to parking!
There is an abundance of public parking in the downtown area. Street parking is free after 5 pm and on weekends, and there are also a number of garages and parking lots within easy walking distance of the theatre. The closest lots are Old Pueblo (Congress between Scott and Stone) and La Placita (Stone and Jackson). For your convenience, we have a downloadable map that you can print out and bring with you to find the best parking spots available (the map is provided by the City of Tucson, www.tucsonaz.gov).

SunLink, Tucson’s Modern Street Car, is in operation! Its 4-mile route includes stops at The Fox and nearby parking garages, making it easy to park anywhere along the line and get to The Fox. The Street Car connects the University of Arizona, Main Gate Square, 4th Avenue, Downtown Tucson and the westside Mercado area.
The Fox Tucson Theater Box Office generally opens two hours prior to each performance. Each ticket has a unique barcode and only the first scan of the tickets will allow entry into the event. Keep your tickets in a safe place.
Will Call Tickets can be picked up anytime the Box Office is open. If coming to a show, there is no need to pick up your Will Call Tickets in advance – just come to the Will Call window when you arrive for the show, but feel free to give yourself a bit of extra time in case there is a line. Learn more about ticketing here.
Accessible seating for guests who require ADA accommodation is available in various locations and are all accessible by a wheelchair or walker. Learn more about the Fox’s accessibility here.
