Welcome to a Fox Theatre annual tradition!

While Midsummer 2020 has not been an opportune time for gathering in person, we have still come together as a community around literacy, harnessing art and fun to stave off this year’s amplified summer learning losses!  Even after the event wraps up, most of the content on the pages above will remain live and relevant to strengthening literacy in ways that are creative, and effective.

Tucson Together Through Reading

To realize the idea of togetherness-around-literacy in video form, young people from literacy organizations across Tucson participated in a community reading of a picture book that captures a piece of our shared experience of pandemic life:
