Fox Brand Manager

Position Announcement: The historic Fox Tucson Theatre is seeking a Brand Manager, who is responsible for day-to-day graphic design projects and website content, ensuring timelines are established, well communicated, and executed with an emphasis on printed collateral and digital event pages. Become a member of our team at an exciting time in the live events industry, and help to grow the impact of downtown Tucson’s one-of-a-kind Crown Jewel.

Position Overview: This staff position is an integral position at the Fox Tucson Theatre, collaborating with multiple teams across departments to ensure efficient and effective external communications relating to a variety of show and Fox campaigns.

Requirements: Minimum three (3) years graphic design experience required with experience in performing arts industry preferred. Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Schedule and Start Date: Full time, Monday – Friday, office hours, with occasional event based hours as needed. Desired start date no later than October 1, 2025.

Compensation: $46,800-$55,900 ($900 – $1075/wk); plus generous benefits

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • General management of Fox branding, managing brand standards with both internal and external partners, including logos, venue signage, online press kit, pantone pallet, and current fonts
  • Creation of Fox apparel and swag based on the individual needs and expectations established by organizational partners
  • Work with internal teammates and outside vendors to maintain and update the Fox website as needed, including content and word press forms, show pages, and supporter recognition
  • In collaboration with fellow team members, manage and execute day-to-day needs of printed event pieces and branded giveaways
  • Responsible for the creation of major design pieces such as the annual report, direct mail projects, and capital campaign collateral
  • Responsible for creation and ensuring timely rotation of the interior signage, posters, menus, fliers, and digital displays for onsite theatre visual advertising and display
  • Manage the creation and printing of Fox Tucson Theatre Playbills with the help of internal team members
  • Responsible for the creation and distribution of paid media ads both print and digital
  • Work closely with Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to acquire and manage show-specific artwork and materials as necessary
  • Manage the deliverables, priorities, and timelines for the Graphic Design Independent contractor as needed
  • Maintain vendor relationships with webmaster, printers, mail house, and outdoor signage partners
  • Coordinate updates as needed for Fox Administration including email signatures, Slack profiles, etc.
  • Serve as an additional team member capable of generating content both written and visual for various mediums, channels, and purposes across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to plan, organize, multitask, and implement projects in a professional manner with both internal and external team members and vendors
  • Have knowledge in print prep, and various mediums
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PS, Acrobat)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
  • Understand exporting for print vs digital use
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving
  • Exemplary copywriting and copyediting experience and/or ability
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in written and spoken communication formats
  • Knowledge of and passion for the nonprofit and/or performing arts sectors preferred.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, keyboard and mouse efficiently
  • Occasionally lift and carry small items, up to 15 pounds, such as files and office supplies
  • Full-time hours required. Weekends and evening hours as necessary

Fox Event Sales Manager

What you will do:
Lead venue rental sales and event management. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for clients — from first inquiry through flawless event execution — while driving new business and maximizing the Fox’s use as a community hub. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, negotiate contracts, create memorable experiences, and track results to meet ambitious revenue and community impact goals.

  • Drive event sales by cultivating leads, conducting tours, and promoting the Fox across diverse sectors (arts, corporate, social, nonprofit, education, and more).
  • Serve as the go-to contact for clients, guiding them through booking, planning, and execution.
  • Negotiate rental terms, prepare contracts, and maintain thorough event documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and vendors to ensure seamless, high-quality events.
  • Track event revenue and expenses, conduct post-event analyses, and report outcomes.
  • Create and refine strategies to attract new clients and maximize the venue’s impact

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in event management, venue rental sales, or related fields (performing arts or hospitality experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong sales and client relations skills with a polished, professional presence
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as events require
  • Tech-savvy with MS Office and event management software, with an eye to continuous improvement and efficiency

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Position Announcement: The historic Fox Tucson Theatre is seeking a Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, who serves as a senior level bartender and simultaneously provides consistent show shift leadership for the bar team to meet sales, efficiency, and compliance targets. Position Overview: For each show shift, the Asst. Food & Beverage Manager will lead by example and work to ensure smooth overall operations; excellent customer service; accurate reporting, cash handling, and register closeout; service of food and drinks to correct specifications; adherence to proper procedures; and a clean, safe, and legal workplace. The Assistant Manager supports overall Food & Beverage operations with tasks such as set-up & breakdown, stocking, organization, inventory, routine cleaning, as well as other non-show related maintenance and preparation.

Requirements: Minimum three (3) years working with public, retail, bar or customer service experience. Experience in high volume bar service setting preferred. High School diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree desired. Arizona Alcohol Certification.

Schedule and Start Date: Full time, primarily evenings and weekends with periodic daytime support shifts. Desired Start date no later than September 29.

Compensation: $17-$20/hour; plus tips for bar shifts; generous benefits package

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for theatre guests; assess customer need and preferences and make recommendations to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
  • Accurately mix ingredients to prepare high quality cocktails and mixed drinks
  • Serve as the primary bar team show shift manager. Support backup shift leaders for events when unavailable to serve as manager
  • Oversee opening and closing bar set ups, ensuring proper inventory and supplies management procedures are followed; food and beverage regulations are followed; team members know their priorities and roles; and materials and supplies are organized
  • Prepare bar/concession reporting that reflects sales, tracks tips, closes out registers and provides timely, accurate information to Food & Beverage Manager and Finance staff.
  • Coordinate with Food and Beverage Manager and Director of Audience Services to facilitate proper bar staff training
  • Coordinate with FOH and other show shift personnel to ensure proper, timely show set up and tear down
  • Abide by all health and safety code requirements
  • Assist Food and Beverage Manager and bar team to make concessions services more efficient and minimize lines and wait times
  • Oversee Fox brand merchandise display, ordering, inventory, and sales.
  • Work closely with Artist Services team to coordinate artist needs for Food & Beverage supplies on per show basis
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • Working knowledge of bar/concession service, stocking, bar-and concession-related financials, and event/staff leadership.
  • Three years in bar and/or food and beverage industry.
  • Basic computer literacy. Knowledge of Excel, POS systems, and inventory management preferred.
  • Ability to lead a rotating team effectively, and work well in high pressure situations.

House Supervisor

House Supervisors oversee day of event, front of house operations, ensuring a positive and safe experience for patrons by providing general direction for show staff and volunteers, supporting patron needs, coordinating with other departments, communicating and implementing policies and procedures, managing the entry, exit, and wayfinding experience for all guests, and effectively handling patron service issues and emergency situations.

Requirements
Minimum two (2) years working with public, retail, or customer service experience. Experience in the performing arts industry preferred. High School diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree desired.

Schedule and Start Date
Part-time, evenings and weekend shifts vary depending on show schedule. Desired start date no later than October 1, 2025.

Compensation: $17-$19/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversees the courteous, safe, efficient front of house operations per theatre policies during public events
  • Opens and closes the building per established procedures
  • Sets appropriate curtain time in communication with production team
  • Serves as primary contact for patrons, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintains expert knowledge of all theatre policies and procedures related to front of house operations, and effectively communicates and implements those policies
  • Supervises patron entry and exit procedures, prompt and accurate patron seating, ticket taking and counts, program distribution, audience informational announcements and signage, and ensuring overall comfort and enjoyment of the audience
  • May make pre-show, intermission, or other necessary public announcements
  • Responsible for patrons’ safety, comfort, and enjoyment of their on-site experience at the venue by functioning as a welcoming presence, helpful resource, and proactive problem-solver
  • Takes clear and decisive action per venue policies in emergency situations
  • Ensures that all event front-of-house staff know safety rules and emergency evacuation procedures
  • Serves as event point-person for communications between production, ticket office, ushers, security, and all members of the event’s scheduled front-of-house team
  • Troubleshoots front of house issues as needed to ensure smooth, timely, safe event operation in collaboration with other departments
  • Promotes positive community and volunteer relationships

Bartenders and Servers

Position Announcement: The historic Fox Tucson Theatre is seeking Bartenders that are responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons and upselling concessions. Position Overview
Bartenders are responsible for setting up, cleaning, stocking bars as well as efficiently serving all products in a friendly and timely manner.

Requirements
Two years customer service experience required (food & beverage experience preferred). Experience in performing arts industry preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree desired. Arizona Alcohol Certification.

Schedule and Start Date
Part-time. Evenings and weekend shifts vary depending on show schedule. Desired Start Date, no later than October 1, 2025.

Compensation: $12.00 – $15.00/hour; this is a pooled tips position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Welcome patrons warmly, take drink and food orders, and enter them accurately into POS system
  • Prepare patron orders with speed and accuracy
  • Accurately mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Provide a friendly and professional atmosphere, answer questions, and handle complaints to ensure a positive patron experience
  • Verify patron age requirements before alcohol service by checking identification, monitor intoxication levels, and appropriately refuse service for impaired patrons
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu, including specials, and be able to make recommendations to patrons
  • Handle payments responsibly, including cash, credit cards, and gift certificates; perform basic math accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar areas and equipment before, during, and after shifts; participate in scheduled deep-cleaning duties
  • Restock bars with beer, wine, liquor, and supplies (ice, cups, napkins, straws, etc.)
  • Set up bars appropriately for each show
  • Assist as a barback or runner for shows as needed
  • Comply with all health and safety codes and policies
  • Follow directions from management and maintain clear communication with team members

DRESS CODE AND ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • All bar staff must be dressed in all black clothing or Fox Tucson Theatre branded t-shirts for all events. Any deviation from the normal attire must be approved by the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to be on feet for 6-7 hours as well as walk up and down stairs often. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • At least 21 years old
  • Two years customer service experience required (food & beverage experience preferred)
  • Comfortable in fast paced work environment
