EDUCATION & PROGRAMS ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Assist in the development of educational content and curricula for education programs conducted by Fox Tucson Theatre, including but not limited to: day camp curriculum; story times; Monsoon Literacy event; family film and family/youth mainstage series enrichment activities; workshops and classes;, supplemental educational activities, resources, and guides connected to school programs; the Curious Conversations adult-enrichment series; and other educational content
• Lead and/or support the delivery of workshops and educational activities—both in schools and at the theatre— as part of Fox education programs
• Assist with the research and curation of KITT programmatic elements, including but not limited to summer camp themes, Monsoon Literacy Celebration content, and potential artists and shows
• Assist with planning and execution of major and minor events and related programs, including logistics, communications, and active participation in the events/programs themselves
• Assist with education program marketing content creation and strategies. Support grassroots communications and promotions efforts to build robust and creative outreach networks that provide greatest access and use of Fox education offerings.
• Serve as primary administrator for education program activities including distribution of sales and marketing information, communications with participants, managing reservation procedures, sharing educational resources, conducting surveys, coordinating transportation processes, and other administrative functions.
• Interface with Fox box office and finance in support of education program payment coordination
• Serve as day of show coordinator for school group arrival/departure logistics in cooperation with other Fox departments
• Provide exceptional customer service to education, outreach, and community engagement program constituents; assist with calendars and coordination; document participation and maintain program data; coordinate surveys and feedback to support accurate tracking, interpretation, and reporting of outcomes
• Assist with the development of AV materials; maintain and acquire program supplies and materials
• Assist with Fox historic tour reservations and scheduling and conduct tours as assigned
• Support Education and Outreach Manager in coordination of teaching and touring artist schedules, content, and communications
• Coordinate appearances of the Fox mascot, Kitt the Fox, including scheduling actors and caring for the costume

ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Assist with the oversight and orientation of stagehands (from third party vendors or other sources), supporting the Production Manager to ensure all users are able to safely and efficiently utilize space and equipment.
• Perform load in and out of event and rental equipment; assist audio and lighting as directed; participate in set and equipment changes; and ensure that artist and tour personnel have required items to perform
• Act as a knowledgeable venue point of contact for touring personnel and crews for routine technical matters throughout the course of events
• Operate and care for stage areas and technical equipment in a safe, clean manner; and adhere strictly to Fox policies, safety standards, and legal requirements while supporting other users to do the same
• Under the direction of the Production Manager, interact with facility users (including renters, co-promoters, etc.) in the planning, coordination, and execution of programs, services, and events for assigned shows.

• Assist Production Manager in maintenance and repair of sound, lighting, and stage equipment

FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Recruit, train, motivate, develop, supervise, and schedule front of house event team members
• Working with other staff and volunteers, provide leadership for volunteer usher program, including training and supervising ushers and supporting recognition and acknowledgement efforts
• Serve as primary liaison with external security and janitorial service providers, communicating scheduling, and issues needing attention
• Monitor and order front of house supplies to ensure necessary stock and materials are available as needed; liaise with suppliers and sales reps; and confirm that procurement of supplies is on the best possible terms; receive and check deliveries to ensure proper documentation and maintain effective inventory control
• Track and adhere to supplies and labor budgets as set by leadership
• Ensure the safety and security of the building, including reviewing, revising, maintaining, and communicating compliance with all security systems and procedures
• Ensure delivery of exceptional levels of customer care before and during events
• Serve as theatre’s ADA access coordinator, maintaining documentation and conducting periodic internal reviews to ensure access needs as requested and required are met
• Work cooperatively with Development, Program, and Rental Events departments to confirm front of house set up arrangements, special needs, and schedules for all events; communicate event set up details to appropriate staff
• Oversee event set up, including crowd control, security, patron warning and informational signage, tables, chairs, linens, remote bars, artist merchandise spaces, etc.
• Coordinate the sales of artist merchandise from advance to end of show close out and reconciliation
• Work with Fox production staff and tour personnel to coordinate show start and intermission protocols
• Ensure professional, on-brand, welcoming, and efficient appearance and presentation of all public areas of the theatre
• Manage event related documentation and communications, including incident and emergency reports, nightly show reports, and other pre and post event information
• Attend meetings as needed for production and/or department operations and communicate necessary information
• Effectively communicate event related information – including know before you go updates – to patrons, community members, partners, promoters, tour management, etc.
• Monitor patron feedback and identify areas for continuous improvement
