Rickie Lee Jones

Two-time Grammy winner Rickie Lee Jones exploded onto the pop scene in 1978 and has made a career of fearlessly experimenting with her sound and persona over 15 critically acclaimed albums.

America’s leading boho pop star, thanks to her hit “Chuck E.’s in Love” from her eponymous debut album Rickie Lee Jones, Rickie Lee Jones is one of the songwriting greats. Her vocals are utterly unique. Her voice is clear and bright, jazzy and moody, and she always delivers an exciting and memorable live concert experience.

A cultural phenomenon (Rolling Stone magazine put her on its cover twice in two years, and Saturday Night Live gave her an unprecedented three songs for her second appearance), Rickie is both a character in the songs and the songwriter singing. She defies convention with her sometimes brazen sexuality and her mixed bag of jazz and rock tunes as well as her authentic songwriter performances.

Her acclaimed memoir Last Chance Texaco was released in 2021.
