Accommodations

Guests may purchase accessible seating in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis by visiting our website FoxTucson.com or calling to speak to a ticketing attendant in our Box Office (520-547-3040) or visiting the Box Office in person at 17 West Congress.

Temporary Disabilities will be accommodated by providing the guest with accessible seating, subject to availability, at the closest available seating location in comparison to their original seat.

Wheelchair seating is situated with a companion space adjacent to it. In the event a guest requests additional companion spaces, the additional seats will also be adjacent, subject to availability. If adjacent seats are not available, they will be in the closest proximity, subject to availability. Please note that Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) are required to purchase a ticket for any/all events.

Please see our seating chart for wheelchair and companion seating locations.

ADA Mobility Assistance

Guests who are in need of a manual wheelchair on the day of an event may request an escort. The escorts will assist guests to and from their seats before and after the event. Guests are permitted to store their mobility devices near their seat at their own risk if space can be located that does not interfere with the path of travel for other guests in the event of an emergency.

Guests may also have their mobility device checked by an usher and returned to them at the end of the event.

Assistive Listening Assistance

The Fox is proud to partner with Sennheiser MobileConnect, bringing live audio to your smartphone. This app is part of a WiFi audio streaming system for live events. It enables barrier-free listening anywhere in the venue.

Blind/Low Vision Seating

We strive to provide an accessible venue for all guests and is pleased to offer seating for guests who are blind or have low vision. Designated seating for guests who are blind/low vision is based on the event’s layout and we reserve the right to change these designated seating areas on an event-by-event basis. Blind/low vision seating is also sold on a first-come, first-served basis and is sold at the same prices as other seats in the designated seating sections.

Concession Stands

Concession stands are accessible to guests with disabilities. Guests may request additional assistance from the nearest staff member.

Elevators & Escalators

The Fox Tucson Theatre does NOT have accessible elevators or escalators for guests with disabilities.

Emergencies

The Fox staff has developed procedures for emergency preparedness, including the safe evacuation of all guests with disabilities and their companions.

Parking/Drop-Off

The closest designated ADA parking spot is located seven parking spaces down from the main doors of the theatre, directly in front of Street Taco and closest to Church Street on Congress. There are also various parking spaces located near the theatre on Congress, Stone and Church.

Additionally, there is an accessible drop-off/pick-up area located directly in front of the theatre. Guests with disabilities may be dropped-off and picked-up at the curb.

Ushers will be happy to assist guests with disabilities in entering the theatre and escort them to their seat, if desired and escort guests with disabilities back to the drop-off location after the show.

Restrooms

All public restrooms are accessible to guests with disabilities.

Segways

Due to safety concerns, Segways are not permitted inside the Fox.

Service Animals

Guests with disabilities who are assisted by service animals attending events may bring their service animal with them. However, the animal must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times. Service dogs “in-training” and comfort animals are not permitted.

Due to tight seating arrangements and limited means of egress for large numbers of people at events, our general policy does not permit miniature horses acting as service animals inside the building.

The Fox Tucson Theatre strives to make its event experiences as user-friendly as possible for its guests with disabilities. Guests with disabilities and their companions are encouraged to contact us with suggestions on how to improve the services.
