Every month we’ll be pairing one-of-a-kind performances by local music artists with a music themed film. The entire event is only $12.50 for adults and $10 for children. The series starts in June and goes all summer long.

About Liz & Pete
She’s Liz, he’s Pete, they are Liz & Pete. Liz Cerepanya and Peter Dalton Ronstadt join musical forces to explore material old and new. Liz’s heartfelt voice with Pete’s haunting harmonies and rich guitar arrangements captivate the mind and tug at the heart.

Their History
After a few passing introductions in their shared music scene, Liz Cerepanya joined Peter Dalton Ronstadt on stage at Monterey Court in Tucson in the fall of 2019. They had had a brief opportunity to work up a couple of songs, including Rodney Crowell’s Leaving Louisiana in the Broad Daylight, and an instant musical match was realized. The decision to make a record together was easy and quickly Liz & Pete began exploring material including the timeless songs of Alan Garr, songs of their favorite songwriters and singers, new and old compositions by Pete as well as classic songs from his father Michael Joseph Ronstadt’s repertoire. Liz & Pete’s natural element is just the two of them on stage accompanied by an acoustic guitar and the Pennsylvania Stompbox. But often you can find them also accompanied by Ronstadt Record’s own The Co.

Movie (2019):
Starring: Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton
Directed By: Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman
With one of the most memorably stunning voices that has ever hit the airwaves, Linda Ronstadt burst onto the 1960s folk rock music scene in her early twenties.
Focusing largely on her career including being the first bona fide female rock star, the life of Linda Ronstadt is presented. That path from her upbringing outside of Tucson, Arizona with European and Mexican heritage to that stardom having moved to Los Angeles to pursue that singing career is shown, with commentary not only from her own lips, but that of many of her contemporaries who were also emerging at the same time.
