RICHIE FURAY · Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist, is an American Music Luminary who is celebrated, along with Stephen Stills and Neil Young, for pioneering Country-Rock as a founding member of the legendary and quintessential group Buffalo Springfield.
When the group disbanded, Richie founded Country Rock Notables Poco with Timothy B. Schmidt (Eagles), Jim Messina (Loggins & Messina) and later went on to form Souther-Hillman-Furay. J.D. Souther, musician and noteworthy songwriter for the Eagles & Linda Ronstadt, Chris Hillman of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers joined Richie in forming the Supergroup.
Some of the best known songs in Richie’s repertoire include Kind Woman, Good Feeling to Know, Pickin’ Up the Pieces, On The Way Home, Crazy Love, Rock n’ Roll Woman, You Better Think Twice and many others.
