Come celebrate the legacy of the award-winning, critically acclaimed Resurrection Blvd.. The first and longest-running Latino family drama in the history of American television, which aired for three seasons on Showtime.

The evening begins with a screening of the pilot episode, starring Tony Plana, Elizabeth Peña, Michael DeLorenzo, Marisol Nichols, Nicholas Gonzalez, Ruth Livier, Paul Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, and many others. The screening will be followed by a highlight reel of unforgettable moments from the series. Tucson native and show creator Dennis Leoni will then take the stage with the cast for a lively discussion and audience Q&A, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and reflecting on the show’s lasting impact.

Before the show, guests will be welcomed on the red carpet, and Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson (The Ugly Little Monkeys of Tucson) will perform mariachi music in celebration.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for the after-party. VIP guests are invited to an exclusive gathering to meet the cast and crew, enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and join in the 25th Anniversary celebration of this historic television series. The VIP party will be hosted by JoJo’s Restaurant (76 W. Washington St., Tucson, AZ 85701) and will begin immediately following the screening at the Fox Theatre. The party is scheduled to start at approximately 6:30 PM.

This event is more than a reunion. Proceeds from ticket sales will fund the Leoni Filmmaking Scholarship for the next four years and beyond. Created by Elephant Scout to honor Dennis and Deborah Leoni’s contribution to film and television, this $2,500 award supports young filmmakers in local high school Film/TV programs with resources for education, gear, or software. The 2025 recipient has already been selected and will be announced at the event.

Whether you grew up watching the show or are discovering it for the first time, this night will honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future of Latino storytelling.
