In this Curious Conversation, Kevin & Tanishia Hamilton demonstrate how Gospel music has been the bedrock of American music. As founders of Southwest Soul Circuit, they’ve shared their love of singing with music icons like Roberta Flack, Patti LaBelle, and Lyle Lovett, to name a few. They’ve also stayed connected to the Southwest church community from Dallas to San Diego, and Kevin actively leads music as music director for two churches. He has produced over a dozen albums and has continually been a community teacher and performer. Staying true to their gospel music roots through vocalizations, rhythms, and themes, Kevin & Tanishia express themselves in their particular brand of modern Soul Music.
