Downtown revitalization means easy access to parking!
There is an abundance of public parking in the downtown area. Street parking is free after 5 pm and on weekends, and there are also a number of garages and parking lots within easy walking distance of the theatre. The closest lots are Old Pueblo (Congress between Scott and Stone) and La Placita (Stone and Jackson). For your convenience, we have a downloadable map that you can print out and bring with you to find the best parking spots available (the map is provided by the City of Tucson, www.tucsonaz.gov).
Parking Meters
Parking Meters are located throughout the business districts in the Sun Link Streetcar corridor and range from 1/2-hour to 6-hour time limits. All meters are priced at $1.00/hour, and are enforced Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Metered parking spaces are free after 5:00pm on weekdays and all weekend.
All meters in the 4th Avenue business district, University/Main Gate Square areas, and most in Downtown are “smart” meters that accept payments by credit, debit, or Park Smart card.
All Park Tucson parking meters can be paid with the GoTucson Parking mobile app. Download this app for free at your smartphone’s app store.
Accessible seating for guests who require ADA accommodation is available in various locations and are all accessible by a wheelchair or walker.
Sun Link, Tucson’s electric street car, continues to remain fare free at the direction of the Mayor and Council.
More than 100,000 people live and work within a half-mile of the streetcar route. It takes approximately 30 minutes to go from one end of the route to the other.
Its 4-mile route includes stops at the Fox and nearby parking garages, making it easy to park anywhere along the line and get to The Fox. The Street Car connects the University of Arizona, Main Gate Square, 4th Avenue, Downtown Tucson and the westside Mercado area.
