How do I buy tickets?

We offer three easy ways to buy your tickets:

  1. Buy them online on this website (just find your event, select “buy tickets” and pick your seat)
  2. Purchase tickets over the phone by calling 520-547-3040
  3. Stop by the Box Office at 17 W Congress Street.

Please note, a 15% service fee applies when purchasing over the phone, online and at the box office.

Can I buy tickets from websites that aren't foxtucson.com?

This is not recommended. Although it may be tempting, we do not recommend purchasing tickets from websites other than foxtucson.com

When you buy from a broker/third party ticketing site:

  • Fox cannot be responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties.
  • Your tickets cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen.
  • We cannot guarantee that your tickets are valid and cannot guarantee admittance. Duplicate, screenshots or copies of tickets, counterfeit or otherwise altered tickets will not be honored for admission to any performance.
  • When you purchase from a 3rd party broker, you will likely pay more than the ticket face value.
  • We cannot contact you with information regarding time changes, show cancellations, road closures or other information.
  • You are supporting unsavory businesses that make it hard for true fans to see their favorite performers or shows without paying a premium charge they cannot afford.
  • We reserve the right to revoke tickets sold to a broker or unauthorized third party. If you are holding a revoked ticket, you will not be admitted and will not receive a refund.

Broker/third party ticketing site examples: Vivid Seats, Tucson-Theatre.com, SeatGeek, AllEvents.com, EventTicketCenter.com, etc

Why does the Fox charge ticketing fees?

Ticketing fees are a standard operating procedure in the performing arts industry, designed to help offset the hard costs of selling tickets (per ticket fees from our online ticketing software company, box office staff time, etc.).

What are your box office hours?

Our regular hours are 12pm-4pm, Tuesdays-Fridays  and 2 hours prior to show time for most ticketed events (including weekends and Mondays). The box office does stay open late for evening shows, often through intermission or at least 30 minutes into a show when there is not a scheduled intermission. Summer hours do change slightly, call 520-547-3040 for more information.

Where exactly is the box office?

Our box office is located at the Fox Tucson Theatre at 17 W. Congress Street. Look for the windows just west of the main entrance and under the awning. We only staff the historic box office (the one right in front of the theatre’s main entrance) for special occasions.

Where do I park?

Parking downtown is easy and convenient, there are over 12 parking garages and lots as well as literally hundreds of parking meters within an easy walk of the Fox. Metered spaces are located all along Congress and other streets downtown (parking is currently free at after 5 p.m. and on weekends, but check the meter as this could change). Click here for a map of parking garages/lots in the area. The closest available designated ADA parking spot is located seven parking spots down from the theatre, directly in front of Street Taco and closest to Church Street on Congress. There are also various ADA parking spaces located near the theatre on Congress, Stone, and Church.

How do I get to the theatre?

Our physical address is at 17 W. Congress Street. We are on Congress between Stone Avenue and Church Avenue.

If you are traveling East on I-10, take the Congress exit, and turn Left.

If you are traveling West on I-10, take the Congress exit, and turn Right.

Then proceed until Congress becomes Broadway Blvd. Turn left on 6th Avenue, then left on Congress heading west to 17 W. Congress. If you are coming from the north, you can take Stone Avenue to Congress and turn right. The Fox is the 2nd building on right. From the East, the best route to take is Broadway into downtown, then veer left onto Congress and drive through downtown.

Where can I eat dinner before the show?

The resurgence of Downtown has brought a thriving nightlife and an eclectic mix of dining opportunities to Tucson. Whether you are looking for light fare or a full dinner before the show, appetizers and drinks, or a tasty treat afterward, there’s a little something for every palate.  Check out the Fox’s local business partners for some of our favorite options  at foxtucson.com/plan-your-visit.

What kinds of shows do you have?

The Fox Tucson Theatre offers a wide variety of live music, including country, classic rock, jazz & blues, and singer/songwriters. In addition, we host many comedians, dance groups and live theatre performances. Some of the more renowned musicians who have played at the Fox over the past few years include: Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, BB King, Lily Tomlin, Jackson Browne, Pat Metheny, Pink Martini, Joan Baez, Gordon Lightfoot, Dana Carvey, Jeff Bridges, Lyle Lovett, Cyndi Lauper, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Rosanne Cash, Weird Al, and Dwight Yoakam. We also continue to honor the Fox’s legacy as a classic movie palace by screening classic Hollywood films throughout the year (programmed in partnership with the UA Hanson Film Institute).

What is “Will Call”?

Will Call is the designated line where patrons who have pre-purchased tickets either online or by phone can pick them up the day of the show. Will Call Tickets can also be picked up anytime the Box Office is open. If coming to a show, there is no need to pick up your Will Call Tickets in advance – just come to the Will Call window when you arrive for the show (but feel free to give yourself a bit of extra time in case there is a line at Will Call)! Tickets are organized alphabetically by the last name, so make sure you take note of the will call signs which indicate at which window your tickets will be located. Will Call windows are located at the box office.

What do I need to bring to pick up my tickets?

Please bring a photo ID OR your confirmation email/order # when you pick up your tickets at the box office Will Call.

Can somebody else pick up my tickets?

Absolutely! Please let us know to whom you would like your tickets transferred (first and last name), give them either your confirmation email or the order #, and ask them to please bring their photo ID.

Will you refund or exchange tickets if I can’t make the show?

Like most theaters and performing arts centers, ALL SALES ARE FINAL: NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES, but we are happy to switch your tickets to a different name if you know someone who would like to come in your place. For Fox Tucson Theatre donors at the Performer level (donation of $250+ annually), we offer a “Cheerful Exchange Policy” which allows for a “no questions asked” exchange to any Fox show (request must be made at least 48 hours prior to the performance date).

Do you serve food or drinks?

We offer Coke products and snacks at our concession stands. Our full-service bars offer a selection of red and white wines, craft and domestic beers, and a variety of spirits.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have spaces that are wheelchair accessible on the floor along with companion seats. Please call the box office at 520-547-3040 to request any special seating arrangements.

What are those “loveseats” in your Loge Seating Section?

At the Fox Tucson Theatre, our Loge seats–the first 4 rows of the balcony section (separated from the upper balcony by a walkway)–are “love seats” that seat two people, so you only need to purchase one seat for every 2 people. These seats-for-two offer spectacular views of the entire theatre and stage and, as an added bonus, they are very comfy!

Can I take photos of my favorite band?

It is the policy of the Fox Tucson Theatre that audio, video and photographic recording is permitted at most performances, as long as it is for personal use and not for commercial gain, and the recording is made using personal electronic equipment, such as a smartphone or a small personal camera, and the recording is made discreetly from your seat.

Flash photography is never permitted. It is distracting and often distracting to the performers as well as to other patrons. Professional gear–such as but not limited to photographic equipment with detachable lenses, video equipment with a stand or tripod, and audio equipment with a detached microphone–is not permitted. Persons making audio, video or photographic records of a performance whose activities disturb the enjoyment of the performance by other audience members may be asked to cease such activities or be subject to ejection. The theatre shall be the sole arbiter of what equipment and activities are permissible and not permissible under this policy, and the theatre reserves the right to amend this policy at any time, for any performance, for any reason, including a complete prohibition of such activities (often based on the wishes of the artist performing that evening).

I’m interested in volunteering, how do I do that?

We’re always looking for new volunteers to join our team and help with office duties or ushering for our performances. Please email [email protected] or see our Join & Give page.

How do I find out what events are happening at the Fox?

We advertise our upcoming events in a variety of local publications and on local radio stations but the best way to stay in the loop about current and upcoming events is to sign up to receive weekly e-blast.

You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Then you’ll be in the perfect position to be the first to know about events (and special offers) happening at The Fox!

Should I wear perfume?

We ask that you avoid the use of perfumes, colognes, or other scents that may be too strong and possibly disturb other patrons.
