The Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation’s “Youth Arts and Culture Program” is proud to be joining forces with the Lapan College Club and Drama Kids International to present the encore performance of the true story of Bill De La Rosa and his family.
This multi-media performance shares the story of a young man from an immigrant family who overcomes the deportation of his mother and the illness of his father to become the valedictorian of Pueblo High School, a star student at Bowdoin College (in Maine), and is now enrolled in a Master program at Oxford University in England!
Also performing on January 8th will be Los Perritos de Hollinger PK-8, “The Pride of the Southside,” under the direction of David Membrila; The Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis, the “Pride of Tucson,” students from Davis Bilingual Elementary School under the direction of Jaime Valenzuela; and Mariachi Corazón de Tucson.
