Two showings– including an hour of classic cartoons* followed by the 1967 animated Disney classic The Jungle Book. Enjoy the exploit of Mowgli, orphaned as a baby and raised by a loving pack of wolves, as he grows and forges friendships with the jungle animals. Then watch as he experiences the splendor of the colorful jungle, sings, dances and embarks on the adventurous and sometimes dangerous journey back to the man-village. FREE

Classic Cartoons* and screening of the animated musical comedy film “Sing”.  In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresario’s attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists’ find that their lives will never be the same. Sponsored by Tucson Electric power. Classic cartoons* and the classic Richard Rogers musical based on the play by the same name, South pacific is the perfect summer get-away. Set on a Pacific island during WWII, love blossoms between a young nurse and a secretive Frenchman who is being courted for a dangerous mission. FREE

CLASSIC CARTOONS

* Classic Cartoons:  The University of Arizona Hanson Film Institute has selected the classic cartoons to present during the Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation Youth Art & Culture Summer Program. Guests will enjoy thirteen of the best Looney Tunes cartoons released by Warner Brothers Studio, starring beloved characters Marc Antony (the bulldog), Hubie & Bertie (Mouse), Claude Cat, Marvin the Martial, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Michigan J. Frog, Sylvester, Tweety, Porky, Elmer and Bugs.

Event Information:

All four event days are free and open to the public. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Seating will be on a first come basis and no tickets are necessary. For groups of 10 or more, please call the Box Office to make seating arrangements.
