Television audiences will immediately recognize the comedic actor from his Emmy Award-Winning role as Beverley Leslie on Will and Grace, Karen’s fast-quipping nemesis. He has also appeared in American Horror Story, Boston Legal, Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives, to name a few.
Since his life’s journey from Chattanooga native with a show pony named Lemon Drop, to Emmy winner, to one-man showboat– for his recurring guest role on WILL & Grace– remains truly one of a kind. More than that, though, Jordan has a true knack for telling talks rivaled only by his love of a one-liner. This hilarious show is not to be missed!
More About Rev-It-Up!
Rev-It-Up is Reveille Men’s Chorus’ annual fundraising event that allows the chorus to further its mission of “Changing Lives Through Music,” with an event that celebrates and engages others in the Reveille mission.
Also: In addition to the featured presentation, each year Reveille recognizes community contributions at the Rev-It-Up event. Awards being presented this year include the Joel Meister Community Impact Award recognizing individual efforts to support and engage the LGBTQ community. The award this year will be presented to Mayor Jonathan Rothschild.
A rare treat offered this year is the Reveille Leadership Award going to an individual who is visionary in creating energy and purpose for Reveille Men’s Chorus. This year, Reveille will be presenting this award to former Artistic Director, Shawn Cullen.
Reveille also recognizes a volunteer member of the community that provides unwavering and unsolicited support for the mission of the chorus. This year Reveille will be recognizing Michael Rogers of Hughes Federal Credit Union with the Reveille Volunteer Award.
About Reveille Men’s Chorus
The mission of Reveille Men’s Chorus, Tucson’s internationally recognized men’s chorus, is “Changing Lives Through Music.” What began in 1995 as a gay men’s community chorus with an array of singers, has grown, transitioned and taken flight into a community institution of seasoned performers focused on building relationships and community through delivering high quality performances.
Reveille Men’s Chorus presents excellent choral performances for the enjoyment, enrichment, and education of the entire community; fosters a caring Choral family; and celebrates human diversity. Reveille does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical handicap.
Reveille’s audience grows with each year. The stories and messages that the chorus conveys in the music it performs has a lasting impact on members of that audience. Our audience spans the gamut of people across ages, identities, sexualities, and political affiliations.
